Description
This exceptional batch of meadow hay from the 2026 harvest comes from a regular supplier in the Chablis region of France. A region famous worldwide for its extensive vineyards and distinctive landscape.
What makes this batch truly unique is its exceptionally low nutritional profile. With only 5 percent sugar and 4.3 percent protein, this is a very low-nutrient hay. It is particularly suitable for horses and ponies that are highly sensitive to sugar or benefit from a more restricted, low-energy forage ration.
This hay is also an interesting choice for horses that need to lose weight. Its low sugar and protein levels make it easier to incorporate forage into an appropriately balanced weight-management ration.
The hay comes from ecologically managed meadows. This type of land management supports local flora and fauna while also creating a naturally diverse mixture of grasses and herbs within the hay.
The hay is packed in large square bales weighing over 500 kg and measuring 90 cm in height.
