Description
This batch of grass seed hay is highly recommended for horses that fall under the heading of "gluttons", but could actually lose some weight. In a sense, the hay is not much poorer than normal meadow hay, but due to the "boring setup" (read; little green color, no strong smell, coarse structure) it is less likely to be eaten, making it easy to feed indefinitely without having your horse consumes very high levels of sugar and protein. The grass seed hay is guaranteed free of endophytes, so it is safe to feed, and there are major advantages of grass seed hay; no weeds, clean hay and little dust. Furthermore, this grass seed hay comes from Zeeland clay, which is always recommended; grass seed hay from sandy soil is almost always of poor quality (dust, mold, musty).
